The State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN) is accelerating major consolidation efforts by merging 15 state-owned enterprises in the logistics sector into a single entity. This strategic step is targeted for full completion within the next month.

Head of BP BUMN and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, stated that the integration process is currently underway. This merger is part of the state-owned enterprise restructuring agenda planned by President Prabowo Subianto for 2026.

“Insyaallah, within this month it will be completed and we will announce that the 15 companies will become one national logistics company,” said Dony at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, on Thursday (9/4/2026).

In this consolidation scheme, PT Pos Indonesia is projected to become the anchor company leading the integration. Subsequently, companies such as PT KAI Logistik, PT Semen Indonesia Logistik, and PT Pupuk Indonesia Logistik will operate within a unified ecosystem.

Dony emphasised that the main objective of forming this national logistics giant is to create a more efficient, effective, and competitive supply chain on the global stage.

“This consolidation is expected to optimise the business capabilities of state-owned enterprises and create more effective and efficient business processes,” he explained.

This rationalisation effort aligns with President Prabowo Subianto’s directives, which emphasise the importance of efficiency in red-plate companies. The President cited the success of the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI), which has significantly improved performance through world-class one-stop management.

“Consolidation with rational management, with the best global standards, the return on assets I received is above 300 percent,” stated President Prabowo during the first anniversary commemoration of Danantara some time ago.
