State-Owned Enterprise Agency Supports Telkomsel in Strengthening AI-Based Business

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Head of the State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) Agency and COO of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, has voiced his support for Telkomsel’s initiative to strengthen its focus on artificial intelligence (AI) as a driver for the company’s long-term growth.

“Because our opponent is not each other; our opponent is the future. Let us discuss what can be shared; there is no problem with that, but let us ensure the industry remains healthy,” Dony stated in an official statement confirmed by ANT_ARA in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Dony believes this step is part of Telkomsel’s fundamental transformation, moving from being merely a data connectivity service provider to becoming an increasingly active player in the AI-based digital economy ecosystem.

This transformation also opens opportunities for Telkomsel to develop new business models as the demand for AI technology continues to rise.
