State Funds of Rp 31.3 Trillion Saved, Cabinet Secretary: President Firmly Eradicates Corruption
Cabinet Secretary Teddy today announced that, on the orders of President Prabowo, approximately Rp 11.4 trillion in cash was handed over this afternoon. Speaking at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Friday (10/4/2026), he explained: “That is a fine for all forms of legal violations and corruption in forest areas. Since the President formed a task force a year ago, the total cash handed over to the state so far amounts to around Rp 31.3 trillion.”
According to Teddy, the core of this entire law enforcement effort represents concrete action and the firmness of Prabowo. Thus, corruption can be addressed, and the proceeds of corruption can be saved to return to the state.
“It consists of cash and assets worth approximately Rp 370 trillion. The point is, this is one of many forms of firm and concrete action, real proof of the government under President Prabowo and his team in eradicating corruption and all legal violations,” he added.
Previously, Prabowo expressed happiness that his government has succeeded in saving state funds totalling Rp 31.3 trillion. He stated that this money was recovered during his leadership, which has only been in place for 1.5 years.
“We are present today at the handover event for the results of financial recovery, state assets, and the collection of administrative fines for 2026 amounting to Rp 11,420,104,815,858. This is an honour and a joy for me that this has happened multiple times in the government I lead, which has only been 1.5 years,” Prabowo said in his speech at the Attorney General’s Office on Friday (10/4/2026).
Prabowo detailed that during October 2025, his government had already saved a total of Rp 31.3 trillion in state funds. One of them comes from corruption cases.
“In October 2025, we succeeded in saving Rp 13.255 trillion in state funds in the criminal corruption case of providing facilities for crude palm oil exports and derivatives. Two months later, in December 2025, we again succeeded in saving Rp 6.625 trillion, and today, 10 April, we have succeeded in saving Rp 11.420 trillion,” he stated.
