State firms sell more rubber

JAKARTA (JP): The joint marketing office of state-owned plantation companies will auction 466,128 kilograms of rubber this week.

The volume of unprocessed rubber to be tendered in Jakarta on Tuesday represents a 70 percent increase from 271,944 kilos last week.

The Pekanbaru office of state-owned plantation company PTPN V will auction two containers (36,612 kilos) of RSS-1 quality latex, and five containers (100,800 kilos) of SIR-10 quality, Antara news agency reported on Monday

The Bengkulu office of PTPN VII will also auction approximately three containers (5,800 kilos) of SIR-3L and three containers (50,480 kilos) of SIR-20 quality latex.

Another three containers of SIR-20 will be offered by the Palembang office of PTPN VII.

PTPN VIII in Bandung will offer two containers (40,320 kilos) of SIR-10 latex and PTPN IX Semarang will auction five containers (106,835 kilos) of RSS-1 quality.

The delivery of latex will be made later this month except from PTPN IX Semarang, which will deliver in May. All the deliveries will be carried through local ports. (05)
