State Assets Reach Rp14,600 Trillion, but Equity Declines

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa revealed that the realisation of state assets grew in 2025 to a value of Rp14,600.98 trillion, an increase of Rp908.62 trillion from the 2024 record of Rp13,692.37 trillion.

“The balance sheet position as of 31 December 2025 reflects a solid financial position, with total assets reaching Rp14,601 trillion,” said Purbaya during his presentation at the 23rd Plenary Session of the DPR RI, 5th Meeting Period, 2025-2026 Session.

These total assets consist of liabilities, which experienced growth of Rp1,258.27 trillion, rising from Rp10,269.02 trillion in 2024 to Rp11,527.29 trillion by the end of 2025. Meanwhile, equity shrank by approximately Rp349.65 trillion, falling from Rp3,423.45 trillion to Rp3,073.69 trillion.

“Liabilities stand at Rp11,527 trillion, and equity at Rp3,073 trillion,” Purbaya emphasised.

Purbaya added that the 2025 balance sheet position reflects the nation’s net wealth as well as the fiscal capacity available to support a sustainable development agenda.

“This reflects a sufficiently good fiscal capacity to support the sustainable development agenda,” Purbaya explained.
