Starting Today, KA Bangunkarta and KA Singasari Trains to Use New Generation Stainless Steel Economy Cars

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) is modernising the KA Bangunkarta (Pasar Senen-Jombang return) and KA Singasari (Pasar Senen-Blitar return) train services starting today, Wednesday (15/4/2026). Previously, both trains used premium economy and executive mild steel carriages. With the new carriages, the trains now have a more spacious interior design, ergonomic seats, more optimal air conditioning systems, and other supporting facilities. “The rejuvenation of the facilities to new generation stainless steel on the KA Singasari and KA Bangunkarta is a real form of KAI’s commitment to improving service quality,” said Feni in an official statement on Wednesday (15/4/2026).
