Amid household efficiency efforts, national energy availability remains a concern, especially in dynamic global situations, including ongoing geopolitical conflicts. In Indonesia, PT Pertamina (Persero) states that it continues to maintain the national energy supply through various strategies, including domestic production optimisation and energy source diversification.
“Pertamina continues to monitor global developments and undertakes various efforts to maintain energy supplies in the country. Through production optimisation and diversification strategies, the national energy supply is currently in a safe condition, and operations are running smoothly,” said Vice President Corporate Communication PT Pertamina (Persero) Muhammad Baron, as quoted from a press release on Saturday, 18 April 2026.
The smooth energy distribution is also supported by integrated infrastructure. One of them is through the Integrated Terminal Jakarta (ITJ), which serves as the main support for BBM and LPG distribution in the DKI Jakarta area, parts of West Java, and Central Java. ITJ includes Fuel Terminal Plumpang, Fuel Terminal Tanjung Priok, and LPG Terminal Tanjung Priok, equipped with Jetty PMG as a facility for unloading liquid or petrochemical materials.
