Starting 1 May 2026, Changes to Train Schedules in Daop 5 Purwokerto
There will be adjustments to train travel schedules in the Daerah Operasi (Daop) 5 Purwokerto starting tomorrow, Friday (1/5/2026). These adjustments include changes to departure and arrival times, as well as the addition of stopping stations.
Reported by Kompas.com on Friday (24/4/2026), the Public Relations Manager of KAI Daop 5 Purwokerto, M As’ad Habibuddin, stated that these adjustments are an effort to improve operational reliability and services to customers.
“These schedule changes are expected to enhance operational performance and provide a better travel experience for customers,” said As’ad in a written statement on Friday (24/4/2026).
- KA Argo Wilis (Bandung – Surabaya Gubeng)
Arrival at Stasiun Kroya will be at 11.56 WIB and Stasiun Kutoarjo at 12.48 WIB (delayed by 10 minutes).
- KA Lodaya (Solo Balapan – Bandung)
Experiencing acceleration in arrival times at Kutoarjo (08.53 WIB), Kebumen (09.16 WIB), Gombong (09.34 WIB), and Kroya (09.57 WIB). This train now stops at Stasiun Gandrungmangun (arriving at 10.36 WIB).
- KA Lodaya (Bandung – Solo Balapan)
Now officially stops to serve passengers at Stasiun Gandrungmangun (arriving at 10.32 WIB).
- KA Sawunggalih (Pasar Senen – Kutoarjo)
Arrival at the final station Kutoarjo will be earlier at 12.39 WIB.
Experiencing accelerated schedules at Stasiun Sidareja, Gandrungmangun, Jeruklegi, and Maos.
