Star TV to air Asian PGA Tour

HONG KONG (Reuter): The Asian PGA Tour said yesterday it had
signed a 10-year deal with Hong Kong-based Star TV for the
broadcast of a one-hour highlight show of the tour's 20-event
schedule.

The highlight show will also be distributed throughout Asia's
national broadcasters by the tour's marketing company, it said.

The inaugural Asian PGA Tour tees off next month with a
qualifying school in Thailand followed by 19 events leading to a
season-ending Asian Match Play Championships in January.
