Star Mild team hopes to win race

JAKARTA (JP): The Star Mild team is hoping to make it lucky number three in the third leg of the national drag race at Sentul circuit, near Bogor, on Sunday.

The team -- Canadian Robert Paul and local drivers Ronny Hermawan and Donnie Pangemanan -- notched up wins in the first two races of the series.

Team spokesman Tim McKinlay said yesterday that although there were tough teams competing, Star Mild expected it could overcome them to win.

"Our ambition, of course, is to win the race and we are confident that we can win. Our racers are prepared for the race," McKinlay said. (lnt)
