Star Cruise serves Medan

JAKARTA (JP): Singapore-based Morning Star Travel Pte Ltd, the
operator of Star Cruise ships, will license 350 travel agents in
Jakarta and Surabaya to sell tickets for its MV SuperStar Gemini.

The company's director for public relations, Judy Choo, said
yesterday that the cruise ship Gemini, which plies the route of
Singapore-Kuala Lumpur-Medan-Phuket, is one of Star Cruise's five
cruise ships in addition to the Aquarius, Pisces, Aries and
Taurus.

Bar, casino and live entertainment are included aboard the
20,000-ton ship, which has a capacity of 1,370 passengers and
crew.

The firm will add two more cruise ships in 1998 to serve more
destinations in Asia.(kod)
