Standard's training program
JAKARTA (JP): Standard Chartered's Asia Pacific Regional Training Center in Jakarta is currently running an advanced credit training program for over 20 top level banking executives from Vietnam.
Participants of the one-week program include executives of the Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture, the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, and the Vietnam Export Import Bank.
The training center has also attracted bankers from Indonesia's state and private banks and from countries like China and Australia.
Last year, the center trained over 1,350 participants.
Standard Chartered Bank, established in Indonesia in 1863, operates five branches in Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan and Semarang. (das)
