PT Suryacipta Swadaya (Suryacipta), a subsidiary of PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA), is targeting sales of 10 hectares of industrial land in Karawang this year as the area enters a maturity phase.

General Manager Sales & Tenant Relations Binawati Dewi remains optimistic about positive foreign investment trends this year, supported by the industrial zone’s readiness to absorb technology transfer and foreign investment flows.

She noted that Suryacipta City of Industry in Karawang has demonstrated stable performance in supporting tenant productivity.

“Currently, Suryacipta City of Industry Karawang has entered the maturity phase with industrial land availability now remaining at less than 10 hectares. This demonstrates strong market absorption and investor confidence to continue operating in our zone,” she explained on Friday (13 March 2026).

Based on a company business visit to Hong Kong in early March, she observed that investors were enthusiastic about Indonesia as an expansion destination in Southeast Asia.

“We see a shift in interest towards higher value-added industries that require infrastructure certainty,” she added.

With industrial land sales in Karawang leaving only 10 hectares remaining, Suryacipta’s primary growth focus is now on Subang Smartpolitan. This integrated independent zone has become home to international tenants, including a global electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer.

Dewi highlighted significant growing interest in Subang Smartpolitan, particularly from investors from Korea, China, and domestic Indonesian companies. This trend includes company relocation, new business formation, and business expansion.

Notably, demand is no longer limited to industrial land but has expanded to commercial opportunities, alongside the company’s residential area development.

To date, she reported, Subang Smartpolitan is also benefiting directly from the National Strategic Project (PSN), particularly the Patimban Access Toll Road, which will have a toll exit directly into Subang Smartpolitan.

Regional connectivity is strengthening with the Patimban Port container terminal targeting full operational status by late December 2026, along with extensive toll road infrastructure development in West Java’s economic corridor.
