Ssangyong opens the box

JAKARTA: Indomobil is set to launch the Ssangyong Musso --
first shown at last year's Jakarta Auto Expo -- under the name
Ssangyong Boxer.

The South Korean four-wheel drive will compete against the
likes of Mitsubishi Pajero and Toyota LandCruiser when it goes on
sale about midyear. It is expected to be priced about Rp 142
million.

The large off-roader is powered by a Mercedes-Benz 3200cc
straight-six engine and features a dual-range transfer case and
four-speed automatic transmission.
