Sritex Boss Iwan Lukminto Sentenced to 14 Years in Prison in Credit Corruption Case

The verdict for Iwan was read out at the Semarang Corruption Court today. The judge ruled that the defendant Iwan Setiawan was legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing the criminal act of corruption jointly and continuously.

“The court sentences the Defendant Iwan Setiawan to imprisonment for 14 years, minus the period of detention,” the judge stated, as reported by detikJateng on Wednesday (6/5/2026).

The judge also imposed a fine of Rp 1 billion on Iwan. If the fine is not paid within one month, his assets will be confiscated and auctioned to settle the unpaid fine.

“If his assets are insufficient, it will be replaced with imprisonment for 190 days,” the judge said.

Iwan Setiawan is also required to pay restitution of Rp 677 billion. If he does not pay the restitution within one month after the court decision gains legal force, his assets will be confiscated and auctioned to cover the restitution.

Iwan Setiawan was found to have violated Article 2 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 18 of the Corruption Eradication Law, in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code, as well as Article 3 of Law No. 8 of 2010 on Money Laundering Crimes (TPPU).
