Sprint rally resumes in Serpong

JAKARTA (JP): The national sprint rally championships will
resume in Serpong, West Java this weekend with leader Gerry
Rusanto seeking his second win to assure himself of the overall
title.

The two-day event, the third leg in the series, will be held
at the same field as that used in last month's previous leg.
Drivers will pit their skills on two dusty special stages
covering 12 kilometers. All racers who enter the second round are
expected to rejoin the rally.

Competitors are divided into four classes, including junior
and non-seeded categories. Organizers have set the track situated
near Bumi Serpong Damai exclusive residence as the venue for the
final leg in November. (amd)
