SPPG Employees Welcome President Prabowo and Indian PM Modi at Prambanan
Hundreds of SPPG employees gathered along Jalan Laksda Adi Sucipto in Sleman to welcome President Prabowo Subianto and Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi during their visit to Prambanan Temple. The group, comprising staff from various SPPG units across Sleman Regency, assembled on the eastern side of the TNI AU Maguwoharjo airbase gate, some in uniform and others in casual attire. They waved small Indonesian and Indian flags, occasionally seeking shade in front of nearby shop houses due to the heat. Security personnel from the Indonesian National Armed Forces and the National Police were stationed along the road and at intersections, while the southern entrance to Prambanan Temple was decorated with Indian flags and traditional janur ornaments. Muslimah, a member of the preparation team from SPPG Condongcatur 1, stated that her attendance was voluntary and that she was unsure if the group would proceed to the temple itself. Ridho from SPPG Catur Tunggal 1 noted that all SPPG elements were represented, but participation was optional. Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya confirmed that President Prabowo and Prime Minister Modi would tour the temple and inaugurate a revitalisation project at the world-renowned 9th-century cultural heritage site, the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia.
