Sports Academy receives car

JAKARTA (JP): The newly established Indonesian Sports Academy
received a Toyota Kijang station wagon from President Soeharto on
Wednesday.

Mien Gondowidjojo, a lecturer at the academy, said after the
handing-over ceremony at the National Sports Council office that
the wagon will be used to help academy staff carry out their
jobs.

The academy was set up by the council in association with the
Indonesian Sports Foundation last year to improve the educational
standards of coaches.

The academy will offer a one-year course, a two-year course
and a three-year course beginning this year. MB Hutagalung was
named its first rector. (05)
