S'porean robbed in Zurich restaurant
ZURICH (AFP): A Singaporean tourist, aged 37, was robbed of
her bag containing cash and objects worth 31,000 Swiss Francs
(US$22,000) while drinking coffee at a central Zurich restaurant,
police said yesterday.
The bag, swiped from the back of the victim's chair around
8.00 a.m. (1 p.m. Jakarta time) Monday, held at least 10,000
Swiss francs and some Singaporean currency, jewels, a camera,
passport and return airline ticket.
The tourist noticed her bag was missing only after she had
finished her coffee, a police spokesman said.
