S'porean accused of raping wife's niece

JAKARTA: Singaporean Max Don, the husband of popular singer Imaniar, is to be reported to the police on Thursday for allegedly raping his wife's niece, identified as Ani.

Imaniar's lawyer Muchlis Amin said that Ani and her husband would report Don to Jakarta police on Thursday.

"Earlier, we planned to file police complaint on Monday, but Ani and her husband delayed it until Thursday," he told The Jakarta Post on Monday.

Several media outlets reported on Monday that Don had also raped his maid, identified as Iyem, several times since late in December last year. --JP
