S'pore student on threat charge
SINGAPORE: A 17-year-old student was charged with threatening to kill his teacher and her colleagues at a Singapore school, it was reported Saturday.
Ng Wei Soi was accused in subordinate court on Friday of threatening to pull out a knife at the Yuhua Secondary School canteen and kill Yap Chui Har, 43, and all the other teachers, The Straits Times said.
The alleged incident occurred on May 14.
Criminal intimidation is punishable by up to seven years in jail and a fine in Singapore. -- DPA
