S'pore military chief due here

JAKARTA (JP): Singapore Armed Forces Commander, Lt. Gen. Ng
Jui Ping is scheduled to arrived today.

Ng Jui will visit City Military Command headquarters in East
Jakarta, where he will meet with City Military Chief Maj. Gen.
Wiranto.

The top brass will exchange ideas and discuss the two
countries' cooperation on security and defense, Lt. Col. Didi
Supandi, spokesman of the City Military Command, said.

Supandi declined to mention specific topics of discussion
between the two generals.

The City Military Command has prepared 240 soldiers to welcome
Ng Jui, with self defense demonstrations, as well as showing off
their skills on handling a riot. (29)
