SPN Polda Metro Jaya distributes educational aid to high-achieving students

The State Police School (SPN) of Polda Metro Jaya distributed educational assistance to 33 high-achieving students from communities around SPN Lido, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Monday, in commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

The aid recipients comprised primary, junior high, and senior high school students who have demonstrated achievements in both academic and non-academic fields.

Head of SPN Polda Metro Jaya, Senior Commissioner Abdul Waras, stated that the activity, themed “Together Achieving Excellence, Serving the Nation,” reflects the National Police institution’s concern for the communities surrounding its headquarters.

“The provision of this educational assistance is our form of appreciation for the children’s achievements, as well as motivation for them to continue excelling and become intelligent, character-driven, and patriotic future leaders of the nation,” said Abdul Waras in his statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.

One of the aid recipients, Rara Enggal Larasati, a seventh-grade junior high school student who won a gold medal at the National Student Science Olympiad, expressed gratitude for the appreciation given.

“Thank you, Head of SPN PMJ (Polda Metro Jaya). I will use this educational assistance to purchase additional books and learning references. I promise to continue achieving,” said Rara.

The aid was handed over symbolically by the Head of SPN Polda Metro Jaya, accompanied by the SPN’s Principal Officials and witnessed by the students’ parents.
