SPN Member at Central Java Police Suspected of Filming Senior Female Officer in Bathroom, Now Reported to Provos

A member of the Sekolah Polisi Negara (SPN) at Polda Jawa Tengah has been reported to the Unit Provos SPN Polda Jateng after allegedly harassing a polwan by secretly recording her in the bathroom. The case is currently being handled by Bidpropam Polda Jateng. The suspected perpetrator is Briptu BTS, while the alleged victim is Brigadir SP. The alleged harassment was reported by Brigadir SP to the Unit Provos SPN Polda Jateng in September 2025. In her report, Brigadir SP stated that Briptu BTS had recorded or filmed her while she was in the SPN dormitory bathroom. In response to the report, the Unit Provos SPN Polda Jateng conducted initial clarification and investigation. Subsequently, based on the results of the internal process, the case was transferred to Bidpropam Polda Jateng in October 2025. Currently, Bidpropam Polda Jateng is in the examination stage for conducting an ethics trial. The alleged harassment case by Briptu BTS against Brigadir SP has gone viral on social media. The Head of Public Relations of Polda Jateng, Kombes Pol Artanto, revealed that Polda Jateng is committed to following up on every report of alleged violations by members seriously and in accordance with applicable rules. “Every report, whether from the public or internal members, will be processed professionally and objectively. Currently, the process is still ongoing as part of the investigation to ensure comprehensive handling for the ethics trial,” said Artanto on Tuesday (7/4/2026). He emphasised that the Polri, particularly Polda Jateng, does not tolerate any form of violation that harms the values of ethics, discipline, and professionalism of members. “We remind all personnel to always maintain integrity, discipline, and the honour of the institution. If proven to have committed a violation, strict sanctions will be imposed in accordance with applicable provisions,” Artanto stated. He asked the public to entrust the handling of the alleged harassment case by Briptu BTS to the Polri and not to be easily influenced by unverified information.
