SPMB SMA/SMK Bali 2026 Registration Opens Today: Links and Stages
Registration for the New Student Admission System (SPMB) for SMA/SMK level in Bali Province for the 2026/2027 academic year officially opened on Monday (22/6/2026). Prospective students are advised to carefully review the schedule and requirements that have been established to avoid missing any registration stages.

The SPMB implementation is scheduled to take place in June 2026 and is divided according to each available registration pathway. The complete schedule for SPMB Bali 2026 is as follows:
Affirmation, Mutation, and Achievement Pathways:
Registration: 22-24 June 2026, from 08:00 - 18:00 WITA.
Verification: 22-28 June 2026, from 08:00 WITA until completion.
Announcement: 29 June 2026, at 17:00 WITA.
Domicile Pathway:
Registration: 30 June - 2 July 2026, from 08:00 - 18:00 WITA.
Verification: 30 June - 8 July 2026, from 08:00 WITA until completion.
Announcement: 9 July 2026, at 17:00 WITA.
The SPMB committee has established a number of registration requirements that must be fulfilled by prospective new students entering grade ten of SMA and SMK. These requirements are divided into two categories: general requirements applicable to all applicants and specific requirements tailored to the chosen admission pathway.
General SPMB SMA/SMK Requirements:
Must have completed education at the SMP, SMPLB, MTs level, or other equivalent educational units.
Must possess a diploma, certificate of completion, or other official document stating completion of grade IX education at SMP, SMPLB, or MTs.
Maximum age of 21 years as of 1 July 2026.
Must have a birth certificate or birth certificate letter issued by an authorised party and legalised by the lurah/village head or other local official according to the prospective student’s domicile.
Must have a Family Card (KK).
For prospective students entering grade 10 of SMK with expertise in pharmacy, hospitality, culinary, and technology groups, a doctor’s certificate stating they are not colour blind must be attached.
Specific SPMB SMA/SMK Requirements:
The 2026 SPMB committee has opened four admission pathways for prospective new students continuing to SMA/SMK level. These pathways include the domicile pathway, achievement pathway, affirmation pathway, and transfer or mutation pathway. Each pathway has different specific requirements that are important for all prospective new students to note.
Specific Requirements for the Domicile Pathway:
The domicile pathway is intended for prospective new students residing in an area according to the new student admission zoning provisions.
Must have a family card issued at least one year before the new student admission registration date.
The name of the prospective student’s parent/guardian listed on the family card must match the name of the parent/guardian listed on the previous level’s report card/diploma, birth certificate, and/or previous family card.
If there is a discrepancy in the name of the parent or guardian as per these provisions, the latest Family Card can be used if the parent or guardian has passed away, divorced, or experienced other conditions stipulated by the local government before the issuance date of the latest KK.
The death or divorce of the prospective student’s parent/guardian must be proven by a death certificate or divorce certificate issued by the authorised party.
If the prospective student does not have a Family Card due to a natural or social disaster, it can be replaced with a domicile certificate issued by the lurah or village head. This certificate must contain information that the prospective student has been domiciled for at least one year since the certificate was issued and state the type of disaster experienced.
Attach a Certificate of Academic Ability Test Results and/or a Certificate of Accumulated Report Card Scores for Semesters 1 to 5 in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Indonesian Language, and English.
Specific requirements for prospective students registering on the School with Agreement Pathway:
- Attach a recommendation letter from the Kelian/Bendesa Adat, an agreement document related to the use of assets belonging to the Banjar Adat/Desa Adat for school purposes, and a statement letter from the school principal.
Specific requirements for prospective students registering on the Krama Desa Adat Pathway:
- Attach a certificate from the Bendesa Adat, namely the Certificate of Academic Ability Test Results. If it has not been issued by the deadline for the start of New Student registration, the TKA score is determined based on the Academic Ability Test results database available on the SPMB application.
Specific Requirements for the Affirmation Pathway:
The affirmation pathway is intended for prospective new students from economically disadvantaged families and persons with disabilities.
Must have proof of participation in a government programme for handling disadvantaged families, such as KKS or KIP, or a certificate from the Social Service stating registration in DTSEN with a Decile 1-4 category.
Attach a Certificate of Academic Ability Test Results.
Attach a Certificate of Accumulated Report Card Scores for Semesters 1 to 5 in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Indonesian Language, and English.
Specific Requirements for the Achievement Pathway:
The achievement pathway is intended for prospective new students who have outstanding achievements in academic and/or non-academic fields.
Attach a Certificate of Academic Ability Test Results.
Attach a Certificate of Accumulated Report Card Scores for Semesters 1 to 5 in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Indonesian Language, and English.
Attach a certificate of achievement in academic and/or non-academic fields.
Specific Requirements for the Mutation Pathway:
The mutation pathway is intended for prospective new students whose parent/guardian is transferred or for children of teachers who wish to attend school at their parent’s place of work.
Attach a Certificate of Academic Ability Test Results.
Attach a Certificate of Accumulated Report Card Scores for Semesters 1 to 5 in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Indonesian Language, and English.
Attach a parent/guardian mutation assignment letter from the relevant agency/institution/company.
Re-registration at the Destination SMA/SMK:
Prospective new students who have been declared accepted through the SPMB mechanism are required to undergo re-registration at the destination SMA/SMK. The re-registration schedule will be announced by each school.
