SPMB Complaint Posts in West Jakarta Remain Open for Services

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The service posts for the 2026 New Student Admission Selection (SPMB) in West Jakarta are still providing complaint services for residents experiencing registration obstacles.

There are two posts available for visits: SMPN 108 Jakarta for the West Jakarta Education Sub-Department Region I, and SMAN 78 Jakarta for the West Jakarta Education Sub-Department Region II.

“In addition to visiting the posts directly, we also have a call centre available via WhatsApp and direct telephone numbers that have been socialised to the public. We are also publishing this through the Instagram accounts of the West Jakarta Education Sub-Department,” said Oman, Head of Administration for the West Jakarta Education Sub-Department Region II, in Jakarta on Thursday.

His office also ensured that information regarding the flow and mechanism of the 2026 SPMB has been extensively socialised across various levels of society, ranging from Sub-district Heads, Ward Heads, and community leaders (RW/RT) to other community elements within the West Jakarta area.

With the readiness of these posts and the ease of access to information, he stated that the public is urged not to panic and to utilise the available service facilities to ensure a smooth registration process for prospective students.

Previously, the West Jakarta Education Sub-Department Region I had handled 586 complaints from parents regarding the new student admission system.

The Head of the West Jakarta Education Sub-Department Region I, Agus Ramdhani, stated that complaint services have been active since Tuesday (19/5) until Tuesday (2/6), both online and through direct visits to the SPMB posts.

“A total of 433 complaints were received via WhatsApp and 153 complaints were submitted by parents of prospective students directly to the 2026 academic year SPMB service post at SMPN 108,” said Agus when confirmed in Jakarta on Wednesday (3/6).
