SPMB Complaint Posts in West Jakarta Remain Open for Services

Two service posts for the 2026 New Student Admission Selection (SPMB) in West Jakarta remain open for complaints from residents experiencing registration difficulties. The two posts that can be visited are at SMPN 108 Jakarta for the West Jakarta Region I Education Sub-department and SMAN 78 Jakarta for the West Jakarta Region II Education Sub-department. “In addition to coming directly to the post, we also have a call centre. There is WhatsApp and direct telephone access to the call centre number that we have socialised to the public. We also publish this through Instagram, which is already available at the West Jakarta Education Sub-department,” said the Head of Administration for the West Jakarta Region II Education Sub-department, Oman, in Jakarta on Thursday. His party also confirmed that information regarding the 2026 SPMB flow and mechanism has been massively socialised to various levels of society, ranging from sub-district heads, ward heads, community unit heads, neighbourhood unit heads, to other community elements in the West Jakarta area. With the readiness of these posts and easy access to information, he said, the public is asked not to panic and to utilise the existing service facilities for the smooth registration process of prospective students. Previously, the West Jakarta Region I Education Sub-department had handled 586 complaints from parents regarding the new student admission system. The Head of the West Jakarta Region I Education Sub-department, Agus Ramdhani, said the complaint service was conducted from Tuesday (19/5) until Tuesday (2/6), both online and via direct complaints to the SPMB post. “A total of 433 complaints were received via WhatsApp and 153 complaints were submitted by parents of prospective students directly to the 2026 academic year SPMB service post at SMPN 108,” said Agus when confirmed in Jakarta on Wednesday (3/6).
