Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Minister of Communication and Digital, Meutya Hafid, stated that the Government Service Connection System (SPLP) of the Ministry of Communication and Digital has processed more than 19.8 million transactions as of 28 September 2026 during the initial trial of the digitalised social protection system, known as Perlinsos Digital.

“Based on the data recapitulation as of 28 September 2026, for this Digital Social Protection, we have successfully processed more than 19.8 million transactions, serving approximately 5.4 million households,” she said during a Ministerial Level Meeting regarding the Expansion of Social Protection and the 2027 Implementation Plan at the Ministry of Social Affairs Office, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday.

“This serves as preparation for our next steps in anticipation of the rollout,” she added.

The SPLP, developed by the Directorate General of Digital Government under the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi), is designed as a connector for data exchange between government agencies.

The SPLP acts as the backbone of interoperability in the implementation of the Digital Social Protection system, supporting the reduction of data fragmentation, accelerating validation, improving transparency and governance, and implementing information access security standards.

“The primary task of Komdigi is to serve as the backbone of interoperability, meaning the exchange of data through the system we have built, which is called the Government Service Connection System or SPLKS,” said Meutya.

“We will optimise the SPLP system to ensure that data exchange remains resilient and operational when facing surges in transaction traffic. We are anticipating the increase in transaction scale by adding capacity to the SPLP resources,” Meutya said.

Further development of the SPLP is directed towards synchronising mechanisms to accelerate data exchange, including supporting the requirements for large-scale data sharing and the simultaneous delivery of data to multiple agencies.

“Our future plan for the SPLP is to synchronise asynchronous and synchronous SPLP. The essence is to accelerate services so that data exchange can be fast and instantaneous in real time,” said Meutya.

“Data ownership remains with the producing agencies, and the SPLP acts purely as a connector and does not perform data storage. Every data exchange is also ensured to be recorded and accountable,” Meutya added.

Kemkomdigi has mapped the connectivity of 514 regencies/cities and approximately 138,000 government offices to support the implementation of the Digital Social Protection system.

According to the mapping results, 93.73 per cent, or more than 129,000 points, are covered by 4G signals with good to very good quality.

“Based on the SPLP, we recommend that in our initial programmes, we prioritise activities in villages that have been validated and have very good signal quality, while avoiding areas that are still blank spots,” said Meutya Hafid.
