Special Economic Zone Investment Exceeds 2024 Target, Minister Reports to President
Jakarta: Investment and Downstreaming Minister Rosan Perkasa Roeslani reported that investment realisation across all Special Economic Zones (SEZs) throughout 2024 successfully surpassed the government's initial target. The report was delivered by Rosan to President Prabowo Subianto during a meeting at the State Palace on Tuesday, 22 July 2025.
According to Rosan, total SEZ investment realisation in 2024 reached Rp90.1 trillion, exceeding the initial target of Rp78.1 trillion. This achievement was accompanied by increased employment absorption, with 47,747 workers recruited, surpassing the target of 38,953.
