Special allowance for DTPK doctors in NTT worth Rp30 million per month

Kupang, NTT — The Directorate General of the Treasury (DJPb) in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) said that a special allowance for specialist and subspecialist doctors serving in left-behind, border and archipelago regions (DTPK) in the province amounts to Rp30 million per month. This is part of the total funding allocation of Rp74.55 billion in 2026 to support the performance of 207 specialist and subspecialist doctors spread across 20 regions, said Adi Setiawan, Head of the Regional Office of DJPb NTT, in Kupang on Tuesday (3/3). Adi explained that under Presidential Regulation No. 81 of 2025, specialist and subspecialist doctors serving in DTPK, including in NTT, are now entitled to receive a monthly special allowance. The allowance is paid to civil servants, whether from central or regional agencies, who serve in health facilities owned by local governments, including staff at regional public hospitals whose finances are managed by a local public service agency,
