Jakarta (ANTARA) - The special accommodation for ticket holders at the Pulogebang Integrated Terminal in East Jakarta is popular among passengers during both the outbound and return flows of the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H holiday period.

“From the start of the mudik flow until now, the special accommodation for ticket holders here is always full. Even outside of holidays,” said the Commander of the Pulogebang Terminal Operational Squad, Daryanto, when met at the Pulogebang Integrated Terminal in East Jakarta on Saturday.

He explained that there are 25 rooms available for passengers who already have tickets, consisting of 17 rooms for men and 8 for women.

“There are all 25 rooms in two separate buildings. For husbands and wives, they are also separated, and young children follow one of the parents,” said Daryanto.

According to him, the rooms, priced at Rp15,000 per stay with a maximum duration of 24 hours, are very helpful for passengers who are about to continue their journey.

Meanwhile, terminal staff and accommodation guard, Fachrul, said the facility is also equipped with bed frames, surveillance cameras (CCTV), central air conditioning (AC), and bathrooms located outside the rooms.

“For the bathrooms, it’s only Rp5,000 paid,” said Daryanto.

Most passengers, he said, arrive at night from various regions in Java and Sumatra.

Another officer, Suheri, mentioned that room payments are still done manually, i.e., in cash.

“They just need to come with their ticket and ID card, then pay. For the stay duration, it’s recorded in the central data, making it easier for passengers queuing to stay,” said Suheri.
