Speaker of MPR and Minister of ATR/BPN Attend National Dhikr and Prayer Event at Monas Tonight

A number of government officials attended the National Dhikr and Prayer event at the National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta, this evening. The event was led directly by the Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs, Nasaruddin Umar.

At the South Cross of Monas, the Speaker of the MPR RI, Ahmad Muzani, arrived at 9:10 PM WIB and took a seat next to Minister Nasaruddin Umar. Muzani arrived while Habib Syech bin Abdul Qodir As-Segaf was leading the salawat, and was warmly welcomed by the religious leader.

Also in attendance were several Ministers and Deputy Ministers from the Red and White Cabinet, including the Minister of ATR/BPN, Nusron Wahid, Deputy Minister of State Secretary Juri Ardiantoro, and Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Stella Christie, alongside various religious leaders and community figures.

President Prabowo Subianto did not attend the event personally. Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar noted that the President had expressed a strong desire to be present but was unable to do so due to pressing state obligations. Nasaruddin conveyed the President’s warm greetings and respect to all attendees.
