Shell Indonesia has appointed Andri Pratiwa as President Director and Country Chair for Indonesia. He will take effect from 1 May 2026, replacing Ingrid Siburian. This appointment marks a change in top leadership amid Shell’s business transformation phase in Indonesia. Specifically, it strengthens the lubricants sector and restructures the business portfolio.

In addition to his new role, Andri will continue as General Manager of Lubricants Indonesia. This dual assignment aligns with the company’s focus on developing the lubricants business as one of the main pillars of growth.

“Shell Indonesia is entering a new phase with various opportunities, and I am grateful for the trust given to me to lead the company in driving growth while continuing to contribute to Indonesia’s economy,” Andri said in an official statement received by Republika.co.id, quoted on Wednesday (15/4/2026).

He stated that Shell continues to strengthen investments in the lubricants business, including the development of a Grease Manufacturing Plant that complements the Shell lubricants factory facilities in Marunda, Jakarta. According to him, collaboration with partners, government, customers, and society is key to creating sustainable long-term value. This leadership change occurs alongside Shell’s ongoing process of transferring its SPBU business in Indonesia to the joint venture company Citadel Pacific Limited and Sefas Group, which was previously announced.

That step is part of Shell’s global portfolio restructuring strategy, emphasising businesses with higher added value in the domestic market. Meanwhile, Ingrid Siburian, who is ending her tenure as President Director and Country Chair of Shell Indonesia, will continue in her role as General Manager of Mobility.

In that role, Ingrid will still hold responsibility for maintaining the continuity of business operations and ensuring the transition process runs smoothly. Shell expressed appreciation for Ingrid’s leadership, including guiding the company through the business transformation period in Indonesia.
