SP3 Yet to be Issued, Metro Police Say RJ for RJ Rismon Still in Process
Metro Jaya Regional Police are still processing the restorative justice (RJ) application submitted by Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar in the case of allegations of a fake diploma belonging to Indonesia’s 7th President, Joko Widodo. As of today, Friday (10/4), the Order to Halt Investigation (SP3) for Rismon has not yet been issued by Metro Jaya Regional Police. “Regarding the restorative justice process for Mr RS, this is still in the processing stage,” said the Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Kombes Budi Hermanto, to reporters on Friday (10/4). Budi explained that an application for RJ submitted by a suspect must go through various stages. Starting from submitting the application to the victim or complainant. Then the complainant or victim must approve it, and this goes through a case review process with the investigators. “If it has been approved and meets the restorative justice requirements, then restorative justice will be carried out,” said Budi. “So I ask all friends regarding that information, we are still waiting because the case process is still ongoing,” he added. Previously, Rismon visited Metro Jaya Regional Police to sign the restorative justice (RJ) agreement with the complainant, on Wednesday (1/4). Rismon emphasised that the RJ process was carried out without pressure from any party. He stated that this was purely the result of the latest research findings regarding the authenticity of Jokowi’s diploma. “Today the RJ process is without coercion, without intervention from any party. I told it to my lawyer Jahmada Girsang, then it was processed at Metro Jaya Regional Police,” said Rismon to reporters. “So there is no influence from anyone, purely from my new research results which involve variables, what is it called, geometry, lighting, as well as resolution variables,” he added.
