Southeast Sulawesi Ministry of Law Joins One-Stop Service Initiative at Sultra Maimo 2025
The Ministry of Law's Southeast Sulawesi office, through its Intellectual Property Division, attended a coordination meeting for the Sultra Maimo 2025 Synergy Booth Service Plan, scheduled to take place from 20 to 22 June 2025. The meeting, held at the Bank Indonesia office, discussed plans for a multi-agency service initiative adopting a One Stop Service (OSS) concept.
Bank Indonesia is providing booth facilities to agencies and stakeholders, including the Ministry of Law's Southeast Sulawesi office, to deliver direct services to the public and facilitate intellectual property (IP) registration.
In his remarks, Fahmul expressed hope that each agency would make optimal use of the booth facilities, bearing in mind the diverse range of mall visitors, and showcase their flagship services. "Our hope is that you will actively participate and work in synergy with us to support MSMEs, advance Southeast Sulawesi's economic growth, and find ways to educate the public about our products. We therefore expect all teams to contribute to the fullest," said Fahmul on Tuesday (17 June 2025).
In response, the Head of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Regional Office for Southeast Sulawesi, Topan Sopuan, expressed his openness and strong support for the Bank Indonesia initiative. "We warmly welcome this collaboration as a strategic step in expanding access to intellectual property services for the public, particularly MSME operators and creative economy players in Southeast Sulawesi. With the one-stop service available through Sultra Maimo 2025, facilitated by Bank Indonesia, the public can now access trademark registration, copyright services, and intellectual property consultations more easily, quickly, and in an integrated manner," he said.
