South Tangerang Police Arrest Three Drug Dealers, Seize 6.9 Kg of Methamphetamine and Etomidate

The South Tangerang Metropolitan Police (Polres Metro Tangerang Selatan) arrested three drug dealers, identified by their initials as HP (35), KN (40), and RR (29). A number of pieces of evidence related to the narcotics were seized from the three individuals.

Chief of the South Tangerang Metropolitan Police, AKBP Boy Jumalolo, said the first arrest was made on Monday, February 9th. At that time, investigators arrested HP in the Cipondoh area, Tangerang City.

“From his possession, evidence was seized, including eight packets containing methamphetamine weighing 742.52 grams, 49 tablets of orange-coloured ecstasy, 48 tablets of brown-coloured ecstasy, five cartridges containing etomidate liquid, one digital scale, and one mobile phone,” said Boy, Thursday (February 26, 2026).

HP admitted to obtaining the illicit goods from KN. The investigators then conducted an investigation and arrested KN the following day in the West Jakarta (Jakbar) area.

From KN, the police seized two mobile phones. The investigation continues to determine the source of the narcotics received by KN.

“On February 18, 2026, they successfully apprehended suspect RR, and seized evidence in the form of six packets of tea containing methamphetamine weighing 6,238.6 grams,” he said.

RR is known to be a courier who received the narcotics from PJ. The police are currently pursuing PJ and have issued a wanted person list (DPO).

The three arrested individuals have been named as suspects. They are charged with multiple articles, namely Article 119 paragraph 1 of the Republic of Indonesia Law on Narcotics, Article 114 paragraph 2 of the Republic of Indonesia Law on Narcotics, Article 609 paragraph 2A of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 1 of 2023, and Article 132 paragraph 1 of the Republic of Indonesia Law on Narcotics.

“With the threat of life imprisonment or a maximum prison sentence of 20 years,” he concluded.
