South Tangerang Land Office Ready to Implement ATR/BPN Ministry's Pilot Project for Title Transfer Services
The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) will commence a trial of its Title Transfer service with a maximum completion time of 10 working days. This move is part of the service transformation championed by the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN. “On 17 August, we will start a pilot project in 15 Land Offices for the Title Transfer or name change service. The target is for the process to be completed within a maximum of 10 days,” said Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, Nusron Wahid, during a press conference at the PTSL Hall of the ATR/BPN Ministry in Jakarta on Monday (03/08/2026). The maximum 10-working-day completion target is an accumulation of each stage of the service process. Verification of the Land and Building Title Transfer Fee (BPHTB) by the local government is targeted for completion within three days, the preparation of the Sale and Purchase Deed (AJB) by the Land Deed Official (PPAT) within two days, and the completion of the administrative process at the Land Office (Kantah) within five days. Head of the South Tangerang City Land Office (Kantah Tangsel), Seto Apriyadi, stated that Kantah Tangsel is ready to be one of the selected Land Offices for the pilot project of the Title Transfer or Name Change service with a 10-day completion process. “Kantah Tangsel is the representative from Banten Province for the Title Transfer service trial, which is intended for direct applicants and proxies,” Seto Apriyadi told reporters at Kantah Tangsel on Tuesday (4/8). Seto expressed optimism that the implementation of the Title Transfer service trial with a 10-working-day completion target can run well through synergy between the Land Office, PPAT, and the Local Government. “This is a concrete step towards realising professional, measurable, transparent land services that are free from illegal levies,” Seto concluded. The Title Transfer service trial will run for three months in 15 Land Offices, namely Surabaya City I Land Office, Malang Regency, Badung Regency, Buleleng Regency, Samarinda City, Pontianak City, Makassar City, Semarang City, South Tangerang City, Batam City, Semarang Regency, North Jakarta Administrative City, West Jakarta Administrative City, South Jakarta Administrative City, and Central Jakarta Administrative City.
