The South Tangerang City Land Office (Kantah Tangsel) is strongly committed to realising land services that are clean, transparent, accountable, and professional, and free from all forms of illegal levies (pungli). This was emphasised by the Head of the South Tangerang City Land Office, Seto Apriyadi, to journalists at the office on Wednesday (3/6). According to Seto Apriyadi, this step is an effort to support high-integrity public services, ensuring that all mechanisms and land service fees are carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, without allowing any additional costs outside of official provisions.

The services provided include the process of managing land certificates, rights registration, and other administrative services subject to established regulations. Seto Apriyability emphasised that any form of extortion in land services is a prohibited act. “I strictly prohibit all forms of illegal levies or extortion in land services. Services to the community must be conducted with the principles of cleanliness, transparency, and professionalism. Every employee is obliged to carry out procedures according to the regulations,” Seto stated emphatically.

“If there are violations, they will be dealt with firmly to maintain our integrity and the public’s trust in us,” he continued. According to Seto, this action is also in line with Kantah Tangsel’s progress towards achieving the Clean and Serving Bureaucracy (WBBM) status through the resolution of service backlogs and the transformation of public services to be faster, more orderly, and to provide legal certainty to the community. “If there are indications of illegal levies, we ask the community to report them immediately. We will follow up and process them in accordance with the applicable legal provisions,” concluded Seto.
