South Tangerang Dekranasda Week 2026 to Enliven Bintaro Weekend
JAKARTA — The South Tangerang City Government, through the Regional National Handicraft Council (Dekranasda), is once again presenting Dekranasda Week 2026, an event to promote local creative products packaged with various entertainment and educational activities for the public.
The event will run for two days, 24–25 July 2026, at Bintaro Jaya Xchange Mall. All activities are open to the public free of charge, and the committee has also prepared a range of attractive door prizes for visitors.
The Chair of South Tangerang City’s Dekranasda, Rr. Truetami Ajeng, said Dekranasda Week is a moment to introduce the potential of South Tangerang’s local products to a wider audience while strengthening the competitiveness of micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM).
“Through this event, we want to provide a broader platform for UMKM players and the creative industries to showcase their finest work. We hope the public will also take part by coming along, getting to know, falling in love with and using South Tangerang’s local products as a form of support for the regional economy,” Ajeng said in a statement on Friday (10/7/2026).
Carrying the theme ‘Bertumbuh, Berkarya & Berdidgaya’ (Grow, Create & Flourish), Ajeng said Dekranasda Week 2026 is not only a promotional platform for UMKM products and the creative economy, but also a space for collaboration among businesses, artists, communities and the wider public to jointly support local economic growth.
A number of performers will enliven the event, including Barsena Bestandhi, Vlumi, Kak Ilman, Hugo Music Entertainment, and a Gambang Mini cultural performance titled ‘Cablak’.
In addition, visitors can enjoy a variety of engaging activities such as a Kids Fashion Show, Local Craft Fashion Show, Youth Dance Performance, Traditional Dance Performance, Interactive Storytelling, a Puppet Show, and various other family activities.
