South Tangerang City Government Strengthens Bureaucratic Reform and Integrity

The South Tangerang City Government is continuing to optimise bureaucratic reform and strengthen integrity through cross-agency synergy. This effort is realised through close collaboration between the Communication and Informatics Office (Diskominfo) and the Inspectorate of South Tangerang to promote a work culture that is transparent, accountable, and oriented towards public service. Head of Diskominfo South Tangerang, Tb. Asep Nurdin, emphasised that transparent governance must go hand in hand with digital literacy education for the public so that oversight can function optimally. “We fully support the integrity strengthening efforts initiated by the Inspectorate. Through collaboration like this, we hope that a professional, accountable, and high-integrity work culture will become stronger across all regional apparatus, thereby improving the quality of service to the community,” said Asep on Monday (3/8/2026). Asep added that Diskominfo actively utilises official communication channels and anti-corruption campaigns to educate citizens to participate and use government digital services transparently. Meanwhile, Inspector of South Tangerang, Achmad Zubair, explained that the city government has issued a Mayor’s Circular on Steps to Improve Governance. The policy is designed as a preventive instrument to boost regulatory compliance, strengthen the Government Internal Control System (SPIP), and suppress potential fraud from an early stage. The scope of this internal oversight strengthening includes enforcing discipline among the state civil apparatus (ASN), managing regional finances, procurement mechanisms for goods and services, and managing regional assets (BMD). Through various innovative programmes such as the “NGORBIT” (Ngobrol Integritas Bareng Inspektorat) forum and the implementation of integrated governance policies, the South Tangerang City Government is committed to maintaining clean and trustworthy public service quality for all citizens.
