The South Sumatra Regional Police (Polda Sumsel) held a handover ceremony for a number of Principal Officials (PJU) and Resort Police Chiefs (Kapolres) within its ranks. This moment is part of a leadership regeneration process as well as organisational strengthening in facing the dynamics of police duties.

Head of Public Relations for Polda Sumsel, Senior Commissioner Nandang Mu’min Wijaya, affirmed that this handover is an organisational effort to maintain continuity of service and public trust.

‘Officials receiving new mandates are expected to start working immediately, build communication with personnel and the community, and ensure that the change of leadership generates new energy to improve performance and public services,’ Nandang said in a written statement on Friday (17/7/2026).

This handover also marks a new chapter of service for officials within Polda Sumsel. With a solid line-up and the spirit of ‘Nyago Bumi Sriwijaya, Aman Bae’, every new mandate is expected to deliver leadership that is responsive, has integrity, and is beneficial to the people of South Sumatra.

  1. Director of Traffic of Polda Sumsel: Senior Commissioner Robertho Pardede, S.I.K., M.I.K. replaces Senior Commissioner Maesa Soegriwo, S.I.K., S.H. (transferred to become Director of Traffic for Central Java Regional Police).

  2. Director of Samapta of Polda Sumsel: Senior Commissioner Ridwan, S.I.K. replaces Senior Commissioner M. Rendra Salipu, S.I.K., M.Si. (transferred to become Commander of the Brimob Unit for North Sumatra Regional Police).

  3. Commander of the Brimob Unit of Polda Sumsel: Senior Commissioner James Parlindungan Hutagaol, S.I.K., M.H. replaces Senior Commissioner Susnadi, S.I.K. (transferred to become Head of HR Subdivision for Rorenminops Korbrimob Polri).
