The IKN Authority has once again demonstrated tangible progress in development with the signing of Cooperation Agreements with two pioneering business actors, PT Dian Jaya Indonesia and PT Biru Makmur Abadi. The signing, which took place at the IKN Authority Office on Thursday (30/4/2026), is part of efforts to accelerate the development of commercial projects and supporting facilities in the IKN area.

PT Dian Jaya Indonesia, a real estate company that is a subsidiary of South Korea’s Dian Development Co., Ltd., will develop an apartment and hotel project in WP KIPP Sub WP 1B, specifically in the Education Precinct with a high-density mixed sub-zone. This project is planned to begin construction in the fourth quarter of 2026 on a land area of approximately 33,201 square metres with an estimated investment value of Rp1.15 trillion.

Meanwhile, PT Biru Makmur Abadi will develop a sports centre and restaurant facilities in the KIPP 1C area. Located near the SMA Taruna Nusantara complex and Gunadarma University, this project is expected to support educational area activities while enriching public facilities for the community. Construction is planned to start in the fourth quarter of 2026 on a land area of approximately 16,387 square metres with an estimated investment of Rp50 billion.

Overall, the signing of these Cooperation Agreements records a total estimated investment value of Rp1.2 trillion, with a total contribution to be paid amounting to Rp3,923,650,500 (three billion nine hundred twenty-three million six hundred fifty thousand five hundred rupiah).

Head of the IKN Authority, Basuki Hadimuljono, stated that this investment will further strengthen the IKN area ecosystem. “The presence of apartment, hotel, sports centre, and restaurant projects not only adds to the variety of urban facilities in IKN but also strengthens the area ecosystem to be increasingly ready to become a vibrant, productive, and inclusive city,” he said.

Deputy Director of PT Dian Jaya Indonesia, Cheong Seung Hwa, expressed his optimism about IKN’s development. “We are interested in investing in IKN because this area is designed as a modern smart city with regulatory certainty, fiscal incentives, as well as significant potential for property and business value appreciation in the future,” he revealed.

Meanwhile, Abdul Rohman, Director of PT Biru Makmur Abadi, also views IKN as a strategic opportunity for long-term investment. “We see IKN as a strategic long-term investment opportunity. The smart and green city concept promoted by the government is highly relevant to global trends,” said the company representative.

This signing reflects increasing investor confidence in IKN as a new growth centre, while also affirming the IKN Authority’s commitment to delivering integrated and sustainable city development.
