Ichsan Porosi (56) has been removed from his post as Regional Secretary (Sekda) of South Konawe Regency (Konsel). Ichsan had previously been named a suspect after striking his own brother while being caught in a raid together with a woman alleged to be his mistress.

As reported by detikSulsel on Wednesday (5/8/2026), the Regent of Konsel, Irham Kalenggo, has appointed the Head of the Konsel Inspectorate, Narlian, as Acting Regional Secretary (Plh) of Konsel. The appointment letter for the Plh Sekda of Konsel, numbered 800.1.3.1/3472, was handed to Narlian today.

“The appointment of the Plh Sekda is a strategic step to ensure that governance and public services in South Konawe Regency continue to run optimally and without obstruction,” Irham said in his statement.

Irham emphasised that the appointment of the Plh Sekda was carried out to ensure the smooth running of government at the Konsel Regency Government while the definitive Sekda undergoes legal proceedings. He stressed that public services and coordination between regional apparatus must not be disrupted by the situation.

“This step is taken as a form of the Konsel Regency Government’s responsibility in maintaining the continuity of government operations and the quality of services to the community,” he affirmed.

The appointment of the Plh Sekda of Konsel also aims to give Ichsan Porosi room to undergo the ongoing legal process. According to Irham, the step was taken so that each party can carry out their responsibilities optimally.
