South Jakarta Young Entrepreneurs Association Hopes to Upgrade MSMEs Through 'Digipreneur' Campaign
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association of South Jakarta (HIPMI Jaksel) hopes that micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in its area can move up a level through an applied campaign entitled "Digipreneur".
"This activity is designed as a form of genuine commitment to presenting a HIPMI that is more relevant, solution-oriented, and close to the needs of young business operators in South Jakarta," said candidate for General Chairman of HIPMI Jaya South Jakarta, Dzaki Adinda Husna, during the campaign at Matra Space, South Jakarta, on Tuesday.
Dzaki said more than 80 MSMEs in Kebayoran Lama and Cipulir enthusiastically attended the event.
A number of initiatives offered during the campaign included the distribution of free halal certificates for food and beverage business operators and facilitation of QRIS registration. Additionally, digital payment devices using voice notifications to confirm QRIS transactions (soundboxes) were distributed as part of efforts to integrate digital payment systems.
"Then, the preparation of NIB OSS legality documents, free eye health check-up services for the general public, as well as the organisation of a business exhibition showcasing products and innovations from HIPMI South Jakarta members and assisted MSMEs," he said.
NIB OSS refers to the business identification number (NIB) issued through the online single submission (OSS) system.
It is hoped that through the Digipreneur programme, HIPMI can serve as a concrete bridge for MSMEs towards digitalisation and business sustainability.
"This is not just a campaign, but the beginning of a collective movement to make HIPMI South Jakarta more relevant and impactful," he said.
Meanwhile, General Chairman of BPD HIPMI Jaya, Ryan Haroen, assessed that Digipreneur is an ideal manifestation of the spirit of collaboration and support for MSMEs in line with HIPMI's values.
"This is not merely a campaign, but a real movement that directly addresses the needs of business operators on the ground," said Ryan Haroen.
Ryan considered that Dzaki and his colleagues have demonstrated that leadership built from the ground up through action is the most impactful.
The event was also attended by a representative of the South Jakarta Mayor, Acting Head of the Economic Affairs Division of the South Jakarta Mayor's Office, Eko Kalbarianto, as well as General Chairman of BPD HIPMI Jaya, Ryan Haroen, who expressed his appreciation.
