The South Jakarta Transportation Sub-Agency (Dishub Jaksel) has recorded 1,337 enforcement actions for traffic violations within the region from January to May 2026.
“These enforcement actions are part of our efforts to maintain traffic order and increase public discipline while driving,” said the Head of the South Jakarta Transportation Sub-Agency, Bernad Octavianus Pasaribu, when contacted in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Bernad stated that the actions were carried out through monitoring and traffic enforcement operations to create order and reduce vehicle violations on the highways.
According to data from the Operational Control and Traffic Section of the South Jakarta Transportation Sub-Agency, the most frequent type of enforcement involved 547 cases documented via the agency’s official inspection reports (BAP).

Bernad noted that enforcement was directed at vehicles violating regulations, such as illegal parking and public transport operational violations.
According to him, April 2026 recorded the highest number of enforcement actions, reaching 425 cases. This figure comprised 99 motorcycle tyre removals, 12 car tyre removals, 47 warning letter-based towings, 11 towings based on inspection reports, 141 inspection report cases, and 115 public transport enforcement actions.

“We will continue to increase supervision at several high-risk traffic violation points in South Jakarta, including high-density vehicle areas and illegal parking locations,” he said.
Bernad also urged the public to comply with traffic regulations to ensure mutual safety and comfort on the roads.
