South Jakarta Resident Thanks Police After Stolen Motorcycle Recovered

Heri, the victim, thanked the Pancoran Police Station for their swift response in recovering his stolen motorcycle. ‘I thank the authorities and Pancoran Police Station for their assistance and prompt response to my report of the missing motorcycle. Now, the motorcycle has been found,’ he said at Pancoran Police Station on Monday, 25 May 2026.

Heri recounted how his motorcycle was stolen while he was performing Maghrib prayers on Sunday, 15 May. ‘The motorcycle was parked while I went to pray Maghrib. During wudu, the motorcycle was still there. After finishing Maghrib prayer, it was gone,’ he explained.

Heri reported the incident to the police. Officers on patrol apprehended two suspects, AD and M. Police stated that there were three perpetrators involved, but the mastermind escaped and is still being pursued.

‘Alhamdulillah, we have apprehended two individuals. One is still at large and the manhunt is ongoing,’ said Pancoran Police Chief Kompol Mansur.

Police recovered the stolen motorcycle, a T-shaped lock, and a bladed weapon as evidence.
