South Jakarta Police Dismantle Cosmetics Shops Selling Tramadol
The South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit has dismantled two illegal drug sales outlets selling controlled substances including tramadol, extimer, and diazepam. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the case.
“There is no place for illegal drug dealers in the South Jakarta region,” said Kombes Putu Yuni, Chief of the South Jakarta Metro Police, in a statement on Saturday, 14 March 2026.
The two arrested suspects, identified as SR (26) and KM (27), were operating from kiosks disguised as cosmetics shops. Police seized hundreds of pills from both locations.
“The case is still under investigation, so police cannot yet disclose more detailed information to the public,” said AKBP Prasetyo Noegroho, Head of the Narcotics Unit at the South Jakarta Metro Police.
The pills seized include:
Extimer: 180 tablets
Tramadol: 380 tablets
Diazepam: 128 tablets
