Jakarta (ANTARA) - The South Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Sub-Department (Nakertransgi) is providing free training on various pastries at RPTRA Taman Sawo, Cipete Utara Ward, Kebayoran Lama District. “At the end of the training, an evaluation will be conducted on all participants to ensure the knowledge gained is utilised optimally,” said the Head of the Training, Placement, Productivity, and Transmigration Section (P3T) of the South Jakarta Nakertransgi Sub-Department, Erning Kumaladewi, in Jakarta on Monday. Erning stated that participants are being equipped with skills to make various snacks, such as doughnuts, chui kao so, cassava croquettes, various sweet breads, and black sticky rice brownies. She hopes this training will encourage participants to become independent entrepreneurs with skills and competitiveness in the culinary field. “We are also providing equipment assistance to support their businesses. We hope this assistance is used well and not resold,” she said. Then, one local resident, Novi, admitted she was very pleased to be a participant in the training, which she had been anticipating since last year. “Alhamdulillah, this year I have the opportunity to attend this training. I will follow the entire series of training to the maximum until completion,” said Novi. Novi appreciated the South Jakarta Nakertransgi Sub-Department for initiating the training. Moreover, participants are also given free business equipment assistance. “The instructors are very informative, and every stage is explained in detail. I hope to apply the materials obtained to develop the home-based culinary business that I have been running for the past two years,” she said. The training runs from 24-30 April 2026 and is attended by 50 participants from 10 districts in South Jakarta.
