South Jakarta Administration Receives Dukcapil Prima Award 2026 for Highest Digital ID Activation
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The South Jakarta Administration has received the prestigious Dukcapil Prima Award 2026 from Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian, thanks to achieving the highest Digital Population Identity (IKD) activation rate in Indonesia.
“For South Jakarta, this award certainly serves as a spur to accelerate digital transformation in order to improve services to the public, particularly with regard to population identity, so that services provided to residents become faster, safer, more convenient, and more transparent,” said the Mayor of South Jakarta, Syafrin Lipoto, in Jakarta on Monday.
The award was presented in recognition of South Jakarta’s achievement in recording the highest percentage of IKD activation in the country.
It was handed over at the 2026 National Dukcapil Coordination Meeting (Rakornas), which was combined with the launch of the Clean Population Data (DKB) for the first semester of 2026 at the Bidakara Hotel in Jakarta.
Syafrin said the IKD Prima Award 2026 served as encouragement for his team to continue accelerating digital transformation in the field of public services, particularly civil registration and population administration services.
He also pledged to keep pushing for IKD activation figures to be raised further.
“We continue to support the population digitisation programme and will keep encouraging the achievement of IKD activation to be increased across South Jakarta,” said Syafrin.
According to him, South Jakarta’s success in winning the award could not be separated from the various service innovations carried out by the South Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-department (Sudin Dukcapil) in accelerating IKD activation.
Syafrin explained that various outreach services had been actively promoted by the South Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-department, ranging from services at neighbourhood and community unit (RT/RW) level, IKD activation in schools, and the Friday Afternoon Service held on the second week of every month at all Dukcapil service units.
In addition, there is a Saturday Morning Service on the fourth week of each month, as well as outreach services during Car-Free Day (HBKB).
“We are optimistic that the digitisation of population services can deliver public services that are more effective, efficient, easily accessible, and provide a sense of security and comfort for residents,” said Syafrin.
Meanwhile, Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian said the award served as concrete encouragement for regions to accelerate digital transformation.
“IKD is the foundation of digital public infrastructure. With IKD, government services can be faster, more transparent, and better targeted. I hope other regions will take this achievement as motivation,” Tito asserted.
On the same occasion, Director-General of Dukcapil Teguh Setyabudi said the award was a form of appreciation for the hard work of regional Dukcapil officials.
He emphasised that IKD activation is not merely a numerical target, but also part of efforts to build an integrated population data ecosystem to support national policy.
