Sony Alpha 7R VI Mirrorless Camera Officially Launched in Indonesia: Specifications, AI Features and Price

Sony Indonesia has officially introduced its latest mirrorless camera line, the Alpha 7R VI. As the sixth generation of the legendary Alpha 7R series, the device sets new standards in image detail and performance for professionals.

This full-frame camera features a back-illuminated fully-stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor with an effective resolution of approximately 66.8 megapixels. Paired with the latest BIONZ XR2 processor, the Alpha 7R VI delivers accurate colour reproduction and reliable performance across various photography needs, from action and wildlife to landscapes.

“Alpha 7R VI is designed for creators who require exceptional detail while being able to respond quickly to every moment,” said Motoya Itako, President Director of Sony Indonesia, in a press release on Friday, 22 May 2026.

Key specifications include a significant upgrade to the Electronic Viewfinder (EVF) with a resolution of 9.44 million dots and three times higher luminance than the previous Alpha 7R V model, offering a more immersive shooting experience.

The Sony Alpha 7R VI is priced at Rp74.999.000 (SRP) for photographers and videographers in Indonesia. Pre-orders are open from 22 May to 22 June 2026, during which customers will receive a special bonus of an additional NP-SA100 battery to extend field operation time.
