Son of Writer Ahmad Bahar Questioned with 47 Questions Regarding Alleged Confinement
At least approximately 21 thick pages containing 47 questions have been answered clearly, accompanied by evidence including around 28 photographs, stated Gufroni, the legal counsel for Ilma, to journalists at the Metro Jaya Regional Police on Tuesday (2/6).
According to Gufroni, the police also plan to conduct a crime scene investigation (TKP) regarding the reported case on Wednesday (3/6).
“The plan is that tomorrow, a crime scene investigation will be carried out by the investigative team at the residence of Ms Ilma or at her father’s residence,” he added.
Gufroni further noted that his client remains traumatised by the alleged confinement incident, stating that Ilma is under significant psychological pressure.
“It is important to note that Ms Ilma is still traumatised. During the questioning, she shed tears because of the heavy psychological pressure she is experiencing,” explained Gufroni.
Following her statement today, Ilma expressed her hope that the truth regarding the matter would be revealed.
“My hope is that the truth can be uncovered. That is all,” Ilma said.
Previously, it was reported that the GRIB Jaya mass organisation filed a counter-report against Ilma Sani Fitriana, the daughter of writer Ahmad Bahar, to the Metro Jaya Regional Police. GRIB reported Ilma for the alleged dissemination of fake news.
“Our legal and advocacy team for GRIB Jaya has received special power of attorney from Mr Haji Hercules to represent him in filing this report at the Metro Jaya Regional Police,” said Hika TA Putra, spokesperson for the GRIB Jaya Legal and Advocacy Team, at the Metro Jaya Regional Police on Monday (25/5).
The report against Ilma was filed by the GRIB Jaya legal team and registered under number LP/B/3749/V/2026/SPKT POLDA METRO JAYA, dated 25 May 2026. Ilma is being reported under Article 264 of the Criminal Code and Law Number 1 of 2023 regarding the criminal act of spreading false news.
“We are reporting Ms IF and her associates. The report names Ms IF and others as the reported parties. The report concerns the spreading of news and information that is incomplete, uncertain, and exaggerated. It is true (regarding the reported Ilma Sani Fitriana),” he stated.
He mentioned that they had submitted several pieces of evidence as part of the report and indicated that additional reports would be filed regarding the ongoing controversy.
“The evidence includes media links and social media posts; the evidence we provided was well-received by the Police Report Centre (SPKT),” he said.
Hika stated that the report was made because the Hercules faction claimed to have been harmed by the allegations of confinement. He expressed hope that the report would be processed.
“We see many news reports and information being sensationalised and exaggerated, utilised by certain parties for specific interests. Therefore, this serves as a message: if you wish to rise, please do not do so by stepping on others’ heads,” he remarked.
“We hope this serves as a lesson for others who receive incomplete and unverified information not to participate in spreading or commenting before analysing the actual facts of the case,” he added.
